Sobe Life water - 3-D Superbowl Commercialcalalalal Digital Domain - Compositing

Sobe Life Water has returned this year to the Superbowl debuting the first ever commercial broadcasted in 3D. Mark Devlin is one of only 3 artists who have been called back to work on all three appearances of the beloved lizards.

3 spots were created a :60, a :30 and a :15

Mark was primarily brought in to create the morphs of the players into lizards. The morph for the :15 version had the added challenge of a bottle replacement. Mark replaced the purple Sobe Life Water bottle with the new white Sobe Zero Cal bottle. All reflections and the liquid pouring through the bottle was pulled from the original bottle and composited on the final product. Below the shot is composited on a colored background, however just hours from the final deadline the director decided to change the background to all white, making it necessary to recomp all shot into the final white look which is scene in the final spot.

In addition, Mark designed the logo end tag graphic, cleaned up original plates, pulled shadow mattes and again was recruited for "fart exploration"......
