SOBE LIFE WATER- Summer Magic Commercial DDDDD Digital Domain- Naomi Campbell beautification

Once again, Mark was hired by Digital Domain and Sobe Life Water to bring back Naomi Campbell and her Thrillicious lizards back to the dance floor this summer, with a highly-anticipated follow-up to one of the Super Bowl's most popular ads.

Mark was again asked to lead a team of compositors to provide extensive cleanup of all Naomi Campbell shots.

The cleanup focused on three main areas. First, the director oiled Naomi to make her appear as if she was wet. However, he over oiled her legs and did not oil here arms and chest enough. It was requested that the plates be cleaned so that her whole body looked evenly wet but not oily.

In addition there was a mistake in the lighting. Naomi was hard lit on both sides of her body. But in the composite she was to walking on a beach in late afternoon light as the sun sets on the right side of the screen. Therefore the highlights on the left side of her body had to be removed and shadow created in its place.

Last but not least her hips and legs had to be reshaped to give her that super model look.
