Snoop
Dogg Boss's Life
Music Video
BASE 2 Post- compositing
Mark Devlin was hired to create the second half of
the video where Snoop plays 5 different characters reminiscent of
his award winning work for Outkast's "Hey Ya" Music Video
At first look this video appears relative simple to
execute. Five motion control passes, some simple rotoscope, and
easy project "in a simple world"" But anybody who
has worked industry more than a week knows that a perfect world
does not exist. 5 motion control passes that did not match up. Objects
on the table that are moved during takes, and candle flames not
only never sync, but they also melt the candles.
But at the end of a fourteen hour day and eight five
vfx shots Snoop is living that Boss's Life.
