When Resorts World Sentosa, a 4.9 Billion Dollar resort in Singapore, called upon 4 time Emmy award winner Jeremy Ralton and Entertainment Design Corporation to design 4 of their latest worldwide attractions, EDC called upon Mark Devlin to get the process started.
Mark and his team of artists, explained to Ralton that by using the AutoCAD used to build the attraction he could create a almost photorealistic version of the final product, far in advance.
Ralton, who is a classically trained artist, used to developing his ideas using artist drawings was thrilled with the possibilities of working in 3D.
Mark Devlin Visual Design was used to create previz for four attractions: The Crane Dance, The Lake of Dreams, The Casino Entrance Escalators, and the Museum Entrance Digital waterfall and pool.
The final results won Jeremy Ralton/ EDC a Live Design Magazine- Excellence Award nomination and a Themed Entertainment Association- Award of Outstanding Achievement.
Congratulation to Jeremy and all members of the team involved.
