Rock legends Def Leppard and occupy the No. 1 slot on Hot Tours as the superstar pairing's Mirror Ball tour traipsed for four months through the U.S. and Canada during the summer, performing primarily at outdoor amphitheaters and arenas. 

The Def Leppard/Heart ranking is based on ticket totals from concerts that occurred from July 27 to Sept. 24.  During that time period, show grosses topped $14.5 million from 278,392 sold seats at 32 concerts.  Included among the shed and arena dates on the schedule were performances at state fairs in Iowa (Aug. 13), Kentucky (Aug. 19) and Minnesota (Aug. 26). 

Next on the Def Leppard itinerary are dates booked in Australia in October and Japan in November, followed by a string of U.K. concerts to close out the year.  Heart will be on the bill for the Aussie shows through the end of October.
