After a successful US and European tour, the band decided to add dates in Japan and Australia.
Def Leppard's tour video director Jonathan Beswick, also approached Mark to create an original video for "Nine
Lives", the lead single to their "Songs from the Sparkle
Lounge" album. The song was co-written and preformed by famed
country singer, Tim McGraw.
When Mark first heard the music, he pictured a beautiful girl with long
legs over back background walking directly into the camera. Imagery of
this beauty girl would then be duplicated to create various graphic patterns,
each representing her nine lives. To add a more dramatic effect, the video
was produced in black and white.
